Materials specifications:
- All fabric should be pre-washed and dried to ensure dyes are set and will not run in case of contact with water.
- Appropriate for large scale designs
- Cotton (trigger, blends)
- Linen (linen/poly blends)
- Silk
- Acrylic paints designed for use on fabric
- Paints should be permanent and not come out during washing
- Cotton, cotton/poly

Construction specifications:
- All design pieces should be appliquéd in place, sewn completely with thread around all edges to protect from wear. Due to wear and washing needs, glue is not an acceptable fixative.
- Each banner should be sewn with a top pocket that can accommodate at least a 1 inch wooden dowel so the banner can be hung in place.
- All design elements should be painted with an even application of paint.
- Design elements, especially repeating designs like triskeles, should be of the same size/shape. A template or stamp application is recommended.
